An Introduction Without a Name
If you were to introduce yourself to me without mentioning your job, your city, your religion, your nationality, or your surname what would you say?
Pause before answering.
Because most of us don’t actually know.
We rely heavily on labels to explain our existence. Titles, affiliations, identities handed to us by birth or borrowed from society. They make us legible. Acceptable. Easy to place. Somewhere along the way, these markers stopped being descriptors and quietly became who we think we are.
We are always running—toward goals, deadlines, milestones, the next version of ourselves. Motion has replaced meaning. Speed feels productive. Stopping feels dangerous.
Without the branding, what remains is simple and unsettling: a living creature on this planet. Breathing. Aging. Sensing. Questioning. No resume at birth. No guarantees at the end. Just awareness passing through time.
So here’s the thought that should linger:
If you stop running and all your labels fall away, what’s left?
And if that answer feels uncomfortable,
maybe the running was never ambition.
Maybe it was avoidance.
Think Over It....& Let that thought sink in
